Quick start
Use PagePin on regular HTTP or HTTPS webpages.
Select a sentence
Highlight the webpage text you want to remember.
Save from the context menu
Right-click the selection and choose “Add PagePin note.”
Return from the Side Panel
Search your notes and open the source link to return to the saved sentence.
Frequently asked questions
I cannot create a note on some pages.
Chrome internal pages, the Chrome Web Store, other extension pages, and some PDF viewers may be unavailable because of Chrome security restrictions. Try again on a regular HTTP or HTTPS webpage.
Why can the Extension no longer find the source?
If a webpage changes or removes the saved sentence, the Extension may no longer find its original location. Your note is preserved and can be reconnected to the current text.
Where are my notes stored?
Core data is stored in chrome.storage.local in your Chrome profile. It is not stored in a PagePin account or first-party cloud notes database.
What should I do before uninstalling?
Export a JSON or PagePin Markdown backup from Settings. The developer cannot recover local notes after the Extension or its stored data is removed.
Why does the ad return after I close it?
Closing the ad applies only to the current Side Panel session. It may appear again when you reopen the panel or restart Chrome. An ad loading failure never blocks the notes features.
